Black women are dying during and after childbirth from blood clots — and too many of those deaths are preventable. Our founder survived a blood clot after being dismissed by emergency rooms, and that experience ignited a mission: to make sure the women who come after her are armed with the knowledge and advocacy tools to protect their own lives.
Check My Flow Foundation is her answer to a broken system — built for her daughter, her nieces, her family, and her community. Because decreasing maternal fatality for future generations starts with education, advocacy, and refusing to stay silent.
